PEPPOL Access PointAs an experienced provider of integration solutions, SEEBURGER has become certified as a PEPPOL Access Point Certified Provider by OpenPEPPOL AISBL. We are pleased that with our Business Integration Suite (BIS) we were able to complete the PEPPOL certification for AS2 and AS4 in a very short time. We were the first access point ever to be named in the official list of all PEPPOL access points that supports both AS2 and AS4.

With a single connection to the SEEBURGER PEPPOL Access Point, electronic invoices (e-invoicing) and all documents defined by PEPPOL in the electronic procurement process can now be sent to over 150,000 participants in Europe, Asia, the USA and Canada.

PEPPOL stands for Pan-European Public Procurement OnLine. PEPPOL relies on open standards for a completely electronically supported public tendering and procurement process (public eProcurement).

PEPPOL naturally supports the Directive 2014/55/EU on electronic invoicing for public contracts in the European Union.

PEPPOL offers a number of advantages over procedures that are only implemented in individual countries:

  1. PEPPOL not only enables electronic invoice exchange, but can also map the electronic procurement process (eProcurement) in its entirety. Cost savings can be made through higher efficiency.
  2. PEPPOL is an open cross-border network and enables exchange with all partners registered in the PEPPOL eDelivery network via a single connection.
  3. The secure data exchange within the eDelivery network is carried out cost-effectively without roaming fees via PEPPOL access points.
  4. Existing national procedures can be integrated.

How do I connect to PEPPOL?

All you need to become part of the PEPPOL eDelivery network is your own access point, which we can make available to you as a cloud service. The PEPPOL Access Point assumes the role of the sending or the receiving Access Point and enables the electronic exchange of documents such as catalogues, orders, dispatch notifications and invoices.

First you send your document via your booking system to the PEPPOL Access Point (1). Taking into account the PEPPOL guidelines, the document is transferred within the PEPPOL network to the access point of the respective partner (2). Documents destined for you take the opposite route: they go via your partner’s access point to your access point (3) and from there to your booking system (4). You can track each transmission using the free SEEBURGER Business Tracking Standard app.

The SEEBURGER PEPPOL Access Point accepts your data via HTTPS, AS2, AS4, SLMP (only for communication between SEEBURGER products) or SFTP and enables you to receive data in the same protocol. Please read our page ‚Data sheets and certificates‘.

Send electronic invoices to authorities and other PEPPOL participants worldwide quickly and easily with SEEBURGER Cloud Services.

The use of the PEPPOL eDelivery network to send electronic invoices is a widespread international practice to directly reach a large number of recipients with a single connection. There is no need to establish individual connections for this purpose. In order to simplify the PEPPOL connection and minimize risks, it is advisable to work with a partner who is familiar with PEPPOL, ERP system integration, international formats for electronic invoicing and highly scalable cloud services.

For PEPPOL, SEEBURGER offers an immediately usable, preconfigured cloud service for this purpose, to which the invoice data can be easily transferred. SEEBURGER offers companies with different requirements for electronic invoicing formats the expertise to support the various international eInvoicing data formats and to meet the legal archiving requirements. Thus, the complete eInvoicing process can be fully automated with PEPPOL participants.
